I know, I just do not give up, this is the second Funny Edits concerning Francesco Schettino, captain of the Costa Concordia cruise ship who hit bottom and almost completely sank the ship, because of human behavior. I just could not resist a second run… lol
Well, what I can say for Mr. Schettino, the infamous captain of the Costa Concordia cruise ship who hit bottom and overturned the cruise ship off the Italian coast. I do not know what to say other than say that I am a bit disappointed at myself; yes me, because by finishing an essay I could have indirectly predicated that such thing could happen again under an Italian captain, unfortunately that essay isn’t done. In that essay I explain why Italy produces “some of” the best and worst captain around.
Sure they have good captains, the country is surrounded by water, due to this going back into history books will reveal the huge implication of Italian explorers, all countries hired them, surpassing Portugal, France and Spain and only the British have done better in terms of exceptional navigators and service rendered.
However, the same factor that yields many good captains, also yield potential unqualified people into the navy that simply can’t handle high pressure moments. And this is not new story, in World War 2 German military papers, which were observations by German officers, have reported negative behavior from some Italian units operating along Germans, where Italian seaman were not disciplined and where in many occasion surrendered under light situations and/or avoided confrontation all together. How Francesco Schettino reacted was just a “possible” repeat of history, predictable as I said earlier.
However, let’s remember the opposite is true, some of the greatest captains were Italian and the balance is still in Italian favor for good captains out there. Even Francesco Schettino made a decent move under the circumstance as he turned the ship around to avoid the deep, imagine the disaster then. That he did it fast enough or not, the good direction or not, it’s not important at this point, the ship will not float, what matters is why he abandoned ship so fast (to early for the real reasons), as I love to analyze behaviors to form correlations, one of the most powerful tool of the brain for reasoning impartially.

When we think about human behavior as a whole, we can clearly observe in daily life how we react to banal things such as the opposite sex. It is so anchored in our DNA that no amount of education, prestige, religious belief or even the moment and seriousness of an affair, can sway away a human to behave like nature took its course to do.
However, does this link with nature explain why countless men cannot think and behave in front of people? Do I need to ask the women to hide themselves? Should I blame them for tempting my look and fantasize? Of course not, it’s all in our mind, because if you look, you imagine, if you imagine you may do, say or act inadequately, making you look at times as the men on these images and we have a laugh. 
(Take note some images are not related to the topic but simply perfect pose for the topic, the rest it is what it is. lol )
Okay it is far fetched, but if you add them fast enough the better it sounds right as an answer.
Another grim Funny Edits, but hey! it’s all about that…
The other day when I opened my regular news webpage I read a few funny lines, and here are the 3 to keep in mind;
- “USA might be responsible for cancers affecting Latin American leaders”
- “Would it be strange if they had developed the technology to induce cancer?”
- “difficult to explain using the law of probabilities”
All these sentences were made by Hugo Chavez, the president of Venezuela, a beautiful and capable country, north of Brazil in South America.
This summer when we were coming back from Florida we side stepped towards New York. For me it was the first time I saw New York up close, and I was pleased and upset at the same time. It reminds me of my own Canadian city Montreal, where things are cold at look due to the ugly coloring of the bricks, broken roads and sidewalks, but above all extremely dirty and dilapidated at the WRONG place. With this funny edit I underline one of them.
I was suppose to upload this work in the month of October to underline October Fest and at the same time dedicate this Funny Edit to all submariners all around the world, past, present, future of all nationalities. But the work was longer to achieve, better late then never.
The image itself, and the way the elements are placed, emphasize the importance of long term preparation these men (also women in some navy’s) have to perform and endure while going on long sorties, peaceful time or not. Food, heath care, ammunitions and many other cargos must be accounted for or it may severely disrupt the mission. It is close to a ceremony in a sense when these ships leave port. But once out there, it is not easy to be inside a tube, breathing the same recycled air over and over again, where even the least claustrophobic person must at times remind themselves that all is good… the thought of an accident or enemy hit could result in little to no chance of escape, where everyday life resembles the one of a miner than a navy. Think about it… compared to other navy elements.
Side Note: The picture frame contains the picture of Wolfgang Lüth, an homage I do to him. He was probably one of the best submarine commanders of all time, in my eyes. Unfortunately he served the wrong cause, nevertheless you cannot strip away the talent and guts of one. – An Ace is an Ace.
As comedian and entertainer I always liked Will Ferrell, however as long I can remember his name always made me giggle, perhaps because his last name resembles to ferret? 
This religious fanatic predicted the end of the world, not once but at least twice, that I know of. I do not even care to read and learn about him, what a waste of time. I have nothing against religious people, but when I see people like Harold Camping, that makes me sad, not for him but for the people that follow him.
I express my regrets towards all who lost their jobs, money and “maybe” some of you your lives; I am appalled. We only live once, let your god decide everything for himself, do not let mortal people sway you in anything negative.
With the weird declarations this leader made, be it remarks about the holocaust, September 11 event and so forth, this Funny Edit and the content might not be so funny after all. But just as he can do weird declaration, so can I.
I was about to scrap this particular edit half way done just a few days ago, until I read a few decisive articles that made me change my mind. I tried to investigate, but it seems that what I read here in the Canadian media is found more or less in the same format in the Persian area. Of course I am talking about Mr. Ahmadinejad, the Iranian president and all the scandalous things he portrays. I believe he does not merit this position, he’s too weirdcentric. Do not get me wrong here, I have nothing against Iran. I care less what Iran do next, I actually always defended the right for Iran to have nuclear technologies. My opinion on this issue is simple, everybody has the right to nuclear derived technologies, but it is everybody’s affair to know what each other is doing. This Funny Edit edition is aimed only at Mr. Ahmadinejad, at all the stupid sentences this person made, the waste of time people endured when speaking, the lies, the weird thinking and ideologies. He points at West with words of corruption, but in his home place he is facing just the same problem. They are no better, people with power are all the same, really. And as for the other people and decorations in the image, they are only there and retouched for your amusement.;)
